As an artist, I have struggled to find my style because that was what "great" artists did. As an artist, I have struggled and still am struggling with being a perfectionist, and I hate having the feeling of not being satisfied with the art that I create. Combining both of these challenges of perfectionism and trying to figure out what my signature style is put me down, and I became unmotivated to create anything. Not saying that this doesn't happen to me anymore because it unfortunately does, but I just didn't feel the joy of creating anymore. I've tried many different art styles, mediums, and tried to learn from other creators. It was until one day where I finally just let loose of holding back and just sketching. I already knew that portraits were something that I found interesting, but I was too focused on making it the best that can. When sketching and letting loose I started finding what I was creating fun. I didn't feel the pressure of trying to be perfectly realistic or proportional. I found myself creating the R O M A N A R T logo in 2017. When I finally was happily creating again and found what my "style" was.
